The week of April Fool's day 2004, I set up a Frum for the CBB project, after lots of trials and errors: I tried setting a phpBB Forum, through 5 tedious paths and finally succeeded in setting one that has the very similar structure of the one being used by the TÉLUQ, for all its courses. Furthermore, to my own artistic taste, I see that its overall aspect is graphically even more aesthetic than the TÉLUQ's. After a first day of using, building and analysing it, I can see that I encountered a strongly built and abundantly documented pedagogical treasure; furthermore, I must add that the m@triz is absolutely Free, though add supported: there is no pop ups and only one ad, always at the same place. The forum,
, is hosted by ProBoards.
Particularly at the master's degree's, the administration of the forum could surely be mastered by University Students who are future or actual teachers; it could likely be tamed by high school students, especially at the Secondary V level... Nevertheless, the forum could well serve learners at all levels, including grade school and adults.
Now that I finally installed a forum, I can see that a BLOG, which for a while I intented for this module, will be right at home in the next module, since it truly serves well the extrants of Intrapersonal Intelligence, whereas a Forum is truly made for community communication. Therefore, I will shortly move the BLOG related data to the next Intrapersonal module...
