| TIPI COVERS were traditionally made with Buffalo hides, until Europeans almost exterminated buffaloes (and Indian People), thanks to Buffalo Bill. Nowadays, however, canvas (from hemp) is usually used to make them. The above photos of a TIPI that I built are thus rather unusual. |
